QUALIFICATION & INVESTMENT CRITERIA:
Required documents:- Applicant must be above 18 years old.
- Applicant must be in good health.
- Successfully pass due diligence check.
- Must not have been refused a Schengen Visa in the past.
- You will need to submit a copy of your valid passport.
- Copy of your birth certificate.
- Copy of your marriage or divorce certificates.
- 2 passport-size pictures.
- Demonstrate clear criminal background records.
- Filling out the investor visa application form.
- You must possess private health insurance with a Spanish company.
- Proof of residential address through utility bills or rental contract.
- Registration Certificate issued by home country police office.
- Sales/purchase contract for the type of investment needed.
- Proof of source of wealth: documents providing from where the wealth has been derived.
- Proof of source of investment funds: supporting with bank statements for last 12 months, owned properties contracts, etc.
- Proof of annual income – Audited accounts for business owners, HR letter, bank account interest, rental contracts, etc.
- Proof of payment of the visa fee and all the necessary fees.
- All documents submitted must be translated into Spanish by a certified translator and apostilled.
- In the first phase, applicants apply in their home country for a Spanish residence visa that allows them to reside and work in Spain for one year.
- In the second phase, applicants apply for a Spanish residence permit. If they have come to Spain on an ordinary tourist visa, they may apply for the residence permit directly, thus omitting the first phase.
- The residence permit applies to the main investor, spouse, or partner (including unmarried or same-sex unions) and all economically dependent descendants.
- Residence permits are usually issued after a 20-day consideration period and have an initial duration of two years, renewable for five years upon request, provided that a minimum investment in Spain is maintained by the applicant.
